Jock is looking to travel by train on the Friday and return on the Saturday. He has provisionally booked 3 rooms in the Radisson Blu hotel at £55 each for the Friday night and I am happy to go with that. I will be travelling by train on the day like Jock. Let us know whether you will be coming.

I think I will be able to get to this game (Morag allowing) and will drive down on the Friday and back up on the Saturday, given my success rate with trains. Happy to take passengers.

Doddie, if you're coming down the M5 you'll be very close to my flat. Maybe you could pick me up?

I'll be going by train to Cardiff on the morning of the game and coming back by train on the Saturday. The game is likely to be at Cardiff City Stadium and not the Millenium Stadium. The ground holds around 27,000 and we should get 2,700 tickets as we get 10% for World Cup qualifiers. By my reckoning, Jock will have 7 points, I'll have 6, Shug 5 and Kenny 3 by the time tickets go on sale. At a guess, based on likely points totals for all SSC members Jock, Shug and I will be guaranteed a ticket but 4 pointers will not be guaranteed one. It could be that they move the game to the Millenium so Kenny would be guaranteed a ticket but this seems unlikely based on info from the Welsh FA who have said their football matches will be at Cardiff City Stadium. Kenny might need to get lucky to get a ticket but my guess is that some 3 pointers will get one on a first come first served basis as there are no longer ballots (e-mail from SFA refers). However, I think that we could quite easily get home end tickets for everyone who wanted to go as tickets are likely to be available on the Welsh FA website and I know a few people who live in Cardiff if they restrict it to people who live in Wales.

Definitely going, travelling on Friday (by train or with Kenny), returning Saturday. Still got the 3 twin rooms provisionally booked. Can amend booking nearer time when we know who's going.

So far, Jock, Kenny, Shug and I are going. Anyone else? We could do with making a decision soon as with a little planning I think we will all get tickets irrespective of points level. I'll explain how when I know numbers.

Yep, got the time off booked for this one and I may pick up Jock on the way as I will be driving down on the Friday and going home on the Saturday.

I'm definitely going. I've got 3 twin rooms booked in the Radisson Blue hotel @ £55 pp for B & B. Who wants to stay there? I can amend the booking as necessary.

We've got 3600 tickets so I'll book for Jock, Shug, Kenny and I as soon as they are on sale as 3 pointers plus guaranteed a ticket. Davy and Liam will have to take their chance on an away end ticket as the only other likely attendees as they only have 1 point each.
