As it says, when should we hold or first AGM? It will obviously be held in a Glasow pub at some stage during the day and should last for anything between two minutes and several hours depending on you! Vote for your choice!

Maybe before the Spain game on Tues Oct 12, but I think we need a Sat for a decent turn out, but that would mean 3/9/2011!

Given that we are likely to have a full(ish) turnout for the Spain game in October I think we can safely go ahead with a very informal meeting over a few shandies prior to the game. Jock, Shug, Paul, Danny S, Davy, Kenny, Iain and me have all said yes so just waiting on Danny T.

Good idea. If my flight is on time, I land at about 10.00, so should be in town about 11.00. Do you think that's early enough for a wee "livener" before the game?

Here is the draft agenda for our first AGM. There is two months notice to give EVERYONE the opportunity to ensure they can be on time and meet the STRICT dress code. Exceptionally, the start time could be moved back to 3PM. DRESS CODE. Due to the fact that this is our first AGM and we are playing the World Champs, the STRICT dress code for ALL attendees is kilts and strips/scotland tops. I know that Louie, Shug, Jock, Danny S, Paul will be able to meet this and think Davy will too. I am not sure about Danny T, Iain and Kenny, but with two months notice I'm sure kilts and if needed tops can be borrowed, stolen or hired for the occassion. If anyone needs to borrow a kilt or top, please post your waist size and/or size of top as we will all do our best to help. DRAFT AGENDA - any other items to be notified ASAP. PABTA AGM on Tesday 12th Oct at 14.00 in Glasgow pub (venue TBC) 14.00 Welcome drinks and apologies (none accepted). 14.10 Agree accounts (loss). Are we in administration? 14.15 Drinks break 14.25 Agree funding for next year (if any). 14.30 Drinks break. 14.40 Carling Nations Cup in Dublin next year. 14.45 Drinks break. 14.55 Liechtenstein and Spain away double header. Who is going. 15.00 Drinks break 15.10 Official photo shoot with flag. 15.15 A.O.B and drinks to review our qualifying campaign to date, prospects of qualification and various other bullshit. 15.20 Ceremonial removal of undergarments where necessary. ?? Departure to Hampden with those still capable of walking helping those that aren't. 20.00 Kick off

The extent will of course depend on the length of the meeting he misses but it will be added as an agenda item for others to decide! The meeting could be delayed until 3 as I'm sure Mr Campbell could make that with a half day off work! Would Mr Campbell manage that?

I think that I will stuggle to get there (where ever there is) before 3pm as well, due to working in the morning. Need to get a kilt as well, difficult when you're as slim as I am!!

As mentioned before, a 3PM start is OK. Being a skinny f***er is no excuse for not wearing a kilt! Beg, steal, borrow or hire one! Post your waist size if you need help! The two months advance notice is designed to help EVERYONE meet the criteria. From what Ive heard so far, we only need Kenny and Iain to meet a 3PM start if we delay for an hour. The rest of us will find some crap to talk about for an hour but there can't be an excuse for not making a 3PM start! I repeat, there is two months notice to make arrangements! You can do it, you know you can!

I don't think we are having enough drinks breaks, but saying that I'll be in Glasgow about 11.30, so I'll have time for a quick one before the meeting. I suggest we have an agenda item "membership review" to discuss recently recruited and possible future members. Should there be some sort of inauguration ceremony for all new members recruited after the original PABTA formation?

I tend to agree but I'm sure we will fit them in provided we all turn up at a reasonable time. After all, there must be at least 20 - 25 minutes set aside for business that could easily be diverted to drink breaks!
